HK2-2025-2026
As people and organizations become even more connected due to globalization, it has become increasingly important to develop skills that will prepare students to integrate and work effectively across diverse cultures.
The course equips learners with the basic knowledge and theoretical frameworks of cultural intelligence, for them to have a reference in navigating how their own values and orientation, influence their response in differing environments and experiences. The students will then explore global cultural clusters and dimensions that will help them have an expansive view of the world, leading to a better understanding and appreciation of behavioral patterns different from their own.
This is a 2-part course that begins by building a foundation of cultural intelligence concepts, developing a deeper awareness of one’s own and others’ cultural orientation, and then culminates with a cross-cultural trip to enable experiential learning and reflective observation.
