The Bachelor of Business is a four year full-time program (Going Global Year from Van Lang University and then three year full-time program from University of Newcastle) which starts with broad core courses and then progresses to the International Business major.
The program has a practical orientation, with students learning from case studies of real business situations.
Program learning outcomes
On successful completion of the program students will have:
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Effective skills to work independently and in teams.
- Critical thinking and analytical problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of theories, models and concepts relevant to Entrepreneurship and Innovation; Politics and International Relations; Human Resource Management; International Business; Leadership and Management; Marketing; or Tourism and Event Management.
- Proficiency in the utilisation of information and technology in business.
- Business skills that incorporate understanding of ethical, economic, regulatory and global perspectives.
